Supported by Pag-IBIG Fund For homebuyers, acquiring a unit within the self-contained community that is Neo Calapan will be easy and convenient, with Pag-IBIG Fund set to create a special lending window for LGUs. The lending window will entertain LGUs’ loan applications for their employees as well as residents who are certified Pag-IBIG members. This will certainly benefit Neo Calapan homebuyers due to the shelter units’ cost efficiency and the facilitation of their loan applications. This group of buyers includes employees of regional government agencies relocating from Manila as a result of Calapan City’s selection as regional government center (RGC) of Region IV-B or MIMAROPA. Neo Calapan has been chosen as site of the RGC, allocating a portion of the prime property for the hub of government offices. The creation of a special lending window for LGUs is one of Pag-IBIG’s recent measures to upgrade its lending schemes and enable more Filipinos to purchase their dream homes in the light of current problems besetting the agency. Aside from the new lending scheme, Pag-IBIG’s low interest rates and extended repayment period will also facilitate the process of home acquisition for the buyers
