Calapan City will soon play host to Mindoro’s largest and only first-class shopping establishment, Neo Calapan Mall, to house anchor stores from a giant in the Philippine retail industry - the Robinsons Group.

Construction is now on the upswing for the two-storey structure, the newest addition to the province's numerous attractions because of its modern shopping amenities and the novelty it brings. As the centerpiece component of Neo Calapan, the much-awaited 60-hectare residential-commercial hub rapidly taking shape at the heart of the city, Neo Calapan Mall is a trailblazing concept

It brings to Oriental Mindoro the Robinsons brand of shopping, with its seal of quality, efficiency and convenience.  Though there are other places of shopping and recreation around the province, Neo Calapan Mall is a notch higher as it will house Robinsons’ signature stores, namely Robinsons Supermarket, Department Store, Appliance Center and Handyman Do-it Best Home Center.

Molave Village (Batch 2). A total of 376 townhouse units have been built. Out of 237 Buyers, 38 have moved in. There are 129 remaining unsold inventories.

Narra Village. A total of 20 single detached units have been built. Out of 28 Buyers, 5 have moved in. There are remaining 14 constructed units available for sale.

Neo Calapan: The New City

Conveniently located along the Strong Republic Nautical Highway, the residential-commercial development is a joint project between Neo Calapan Realty Corporation and Filipiniana Resorts Development Corporation. It is set to offer housing units in three communities catering to all market segments: Narra Village composed of single detached units, Molave Village featuring townhouse units, and Acacia Village, currently undergoing land development for affordable row houses.

Interview with Rodel Briones (Molave Unit Buyer)

Rodel Briones, an employee of the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro, admires the touches of modern innovations found in Neo Calapan.

Briones, a Calapeño who moved to Canada in 2006 and lived there until 2008, came back to the country to take care of his parents. He scouted for a new place and visited Neo Calapan for the first time in December 2009. What he saw was the ideal address for him and his parents.
